Hi, there!

I am a Ph.D. candidate at Rutgers University School of Communication and Information.

My research interests are rooted in the intersection of emerging information and communication technologies and the contemporary communication practices found in organizational and related contexts. I am interested in how technology shapes social interactions, and in turn, how adaptation to the technology affects communicative processes in today’s organizations as well as in everyday life.

I am currently working on my dissertation which focuses on how the multiple identities of immigrant women entrepreneurs (e.g., ethnic, gender, religion) affect their social networks and information and communication technology use, and thereby the survival and growth of their business. I have utilized both quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis procedures including surveys, in-depth interviews, and social networks analysis.
